Project Scope
Graycor completed a 35,000-square-foot, two-story retail store for Crate and Barrel in Tampa, Fla. The project included building the store on an out-lot of the International Plaza Mall where active construction was already underway.
The Tampa store served as the successful first-time use of two prefabricated elements, an electrical room and insulated exterior wall panels, shipped from North Carolina and West Virginia, respectively. Having these components fabricated simultaneously off site shaved time off the schedule and allowed for installation upon delivery, thus saving lay down space on the already space-constrained site.
Graycor’s relationship with Crate and Barrel spans more than a decade and includes over 30 retail projects completed in 13 states, coast to coast, as well as in Canada and the United Arab Emirates.
