Project Scope

Graycor Construction Company Inc. partnered with full-service real estate company Casto for construction of the new 2,000 seat AMC Randhurst 12 at Randhurst Village in Mt. Prospect, IL. The project is a unique entertainment concept featuring the latest in digital projection technology, 3D and IMAX auditoriums and many new concession stand and cafe amenities for movie-goers. Through strong collaboration between Graycor Construction and Casto, AMC Randhurst 12 is also the first AMC theater in the United States to achieve LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification by the U.S. Green Building Council. Construction of the AMC Randhurst 12 included sustainable design elements such as the use of locally sourced materials, and energy conservation benfits through efficient mechanical systems.
